I've been working on this 12 years, and only in the last two settled on a publishing plan.

For me I'm trying to walk the line between the older systems and the d20/OGL. I want to make people comfortable playing from both ends of the spectrum. I might not get a lot from OD&D or 4e but I might get the 1980-2001 group. That would be my greatest achievement :)xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17814063435676111475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549940298295825812.post-72430904878249950832011-08-04T12:16:55.507-06:002011-08-04T12:16:55.507-06:00Yeah, I've checked them out quite a few times....Yeah, I've checked them out quite a few times. I like what they've done, but it's a bit too different to feel like what I'm used to. I'm really going for something that replicates the AD&D play I was used to. I'm sort of caught right now between OSRIC and BFRPG.

That will be best to convert my old stuff to and make my products available asap. I'm a little leary trying to learn and get a feel for a system while also rewriting my old AD&D stuff for it. It's liable to not translate too well.

But don't get me wrong I really like what they've done.

thanks!Sizzaxehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13715649618278080709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549940298295825812.post-65647968487912357622011-08-04T10:19:20.240-06:002011-08-04T10:19:20.240-06:00You know I love BFRPG, but do check out Randall St...You know I love BFRPG, but do check out Randall Stuckey's M-series at:

http://www.retroroleplaying.com/content/our-products

He has been my go to on many questions I had when learning the d20 core mechanic material and is the only designer that I have printed out and put in blinders everything he has released. That big Microlite collection is great too for showing ways to use the basic Microlite system in a variety of games.

His most recent M75 is excellent and well worth a read (both volumes).

And it's all free and OGL.

And remember guys, donate when you can. They are still paying off medical expenses and I know first hand how that sux.xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17814063435676111475noreply@blogger.com
